An update that this site was purchased, so I no longer have a presence there.

The latest on-line venue for Zesty Betsy is 1000 Markets. I signed up in October, and had my shop opening just last month. Each shop is screened before it can open ~ makes for a better overall feel in photo quality, product offering, and shop "togetherness"

I did some shopping there this week. The market concept is lots of fun ~ the themes make it feel like boutique shops. The checkout is clean! In Love!

Real Simple had an awesome write up that profiled 10 shops & describes the work as high quality. Win!

Zesty Betsy has had an online shop for a little while, but I've found that some online venues offer some different services and markets. So there are a couple Zesty Betsy shops out there.

1000Martets ~ zestybetsy.1000markets.com New this fall, US only, but a nice concept & layout. Integrates with Amazon payments.
bigcartel ~ zestybetsy.bigcartel.com ~ limited stock just now I'm still trying it out.
DaWanda ~ ZestyBetsy.dawanda.com ~ has an European focus and seems to be a smaller platform but with a nice shopping experience. I admit there is an extra step for confirming the order which is peculiar.
eCrater ~ ZestyBetsy.ecrater.com ~ adding more items. Very clean interface. Integrates with Google payments
Etsy ~ ZestyB.etsy.com ~ has a few of my one-of-a-kind items, but other shops are a little more hit or miss. Integrates with PayPal payments

I'd love to hear of your shopping experiences at the different venues. Is one much better than the other?

As an artist I love combining colors, textures, shapes, and materials; The engineer in me is thrilled with testing the limits of structure, creating forms, and planning & executing a design. New toys, tools & technologies; learning ancient techniques and finding/reinventing an old craft are my thrills.

I'm Betsy & I'm from Boston. As a child I learned about macaroni and glitter, felt and burlap, reusing materials, how to knit & crochet, needle work & sewing, paper mache and pottery ~ from very earthy, traditional homesteading family members. I studied Art, Drawing, Photography, Printmaking, Graphic Design, Architecture and Engineering while in school. I always carry a little black notebook with me ~ filled with people sketches, grocery lists, doodles of new jewelry ideas.

Metal working came later. There are so many aspects to metalworking jewelry ~ I really enjoy it. I still have a paper fixation; enjoy cooking, eating and wine.

User names are really difficult to protect. My business name is Zesty Betsy, but I have a couple ZestyB usernames because of the length/repetition or in the case of my Google ~ to match the truncated user names.

So ~ there are many places you can find me online. Most as Zesty Betsy (zestybetsy) but some with ZestyB.

I do have an underused WordPress blog as ZestyBetsy. (Not ZestyB - that is not me. :D)
I am ZestyB.etsy.com tho ~ I didn't like ZestyBetsy.etsy.com so I also have a ZestyB@gmail to match it.

Why the disclaimer? Recent zestyb searchers turn up other people with some interesting thoughts on life. My own interesting thought are mine / we aren't the same person...

It is a motivator to kick up my own blogging I suppose since there isn't much else to do about it :(
